The highest-scoring British Formula 1 driver of all time, a regular TV analyst and presenter for all things formula one and motorsport Brand Ambassador for many of the world’s leading companies. One of the world’s most widely recognised sports personalities, David Coulthard is a former Formula 1 Grand Prix driver, successful television broadcaster, author and entrepreneur. Born in Scotland, David started racing aged 11 and made rapid progress through to reach Formula 1 with the Williams team, making his debut in 1994. He won his first Grand Prix in Portugal the following year. David then moved to McLaren for nine seasons, winning a further 12 Grands Prix and five times finishing in the top three in the World Championship. In 2005 he joined the newly-created Red Bull Racing team, achieving further success prior to retiring from the cockpit at the end of 2008. Today his business interests include TV production company Whisper Films and acting as Chairman of W Series, the all-women racing series. David co-commentates on Formula 1 for Channel 4 in the UK.
